1 cup butter
1 cup vegetable
oil 1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp cream of tartar
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups chopped pecans
4 cups flour
Preheat oven to
400F. Cream powdered sugar, sugar, oil
and butter together on medium speed. Mix
in eggs and vanilla. Reduce speed to low
and gradually mix in dry ingredients.
Drop on an ungreased cookie sheet by spoonful. Gently press a thumbprint in center of each
cookie. Bake 8 min. Cool completely and add frosting to center
3-6 hours before serving.
Frosting:
1 cup butter
2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese
2 lbs powdered sugar
1-2 Tblsp heavy cream
Cream butter and
cream cheese together until light and fluffy.
Slowly add in powdered sugar and cream to desired consistency. Add decorator coloring and pipe onto cookies
with decorator bag.
